Who we are
I'm Tom, a fully qualified canine physiotherapist with five years in practice. I run weekly clinic days at vet practices across Essex.
This is a one-person service, and I think that matters. You get the same person at every visit, someone who knows your dog and remembers how they were last time. No rotating staff, no long referral waits, and the physio and hydrotherapy kit travels with me so everything your dog needs is there on the day.
Common questions
Do I need a vet referral?
Yes. By law we need your vet's consent before treating your dog. It is a short form and we can request it for you, so it rarely holds anything up.
What does it cost?
The first visit is a full assessment and initial treatment. Follow-up sessions are quoted after that assessment, once we know what your dog actually needs. We confirm the price with you before anything is booked, so there are no surprises.
How many sessions will my dog need?
Most dogs need a short course rather than ongoing care. Post-surgery recovery is usually several sessions over a few weeks. Arthritis is often a check-in every few weeks. We tell you honestly after the assessment.
Will it hurt them?
No. Treatment is gentle and we work within what your dog is comfortable with. If something is sore we stop, adjust and come back to it.
What if my dog is anxious with strangers?
We keep first sessions slow and calm. You stay with your dog throughout, the clinic day is quiet with no waiting room full of animals, and we let them settle before we do anything.
Where do I bring my dog?
To whichever of our weekly clinic days is closest to you. Our fully equipped physio and hydrotherapy vehicle is at a vet practice near you five days a week, so it is a short local trip rather than a drive across the county.
